COACH Earl Jones BIOGRAPHY
Coach Earl Jones embarked on his coaching journey after an extensive career as a player and referee at various levels of basketball, including college, high school, AAU, recreational, and men's and women's leagues. A high school state basketball champion from Illinois, Coach Earl showcased his talents at Upper Iowa University before joining the US Air Force, where he continued to play high-level basketball for six years.
After his honorable discharge from the Air Force in 1995, Coach Earl dedicated himself to coaching youth basketball. He has since contributed his expertise to the YMCA, City Recreation leagues, and high school teams, serving as both head JV coach and assistant Varsity boys' coach. In 2010, he co-founded the CBA Ballers & Lady Ballers AAU basketball program, reflecting his commitment to developing young talent.
Coach Earl takes immense pride in the achievements of his players, many of whom have gone on to play high school and college basketball, pursue higher education, or serve in the US military. His legacy is defined by the success and growth of those he has mentored, leaving a lasting impact on the basketball community.
